You need to have good bicycle riding skills, to be in a good fitness and with a good will to take an uphill or two. You are a regular bicycle rider that do not mind uphills. |
Difficult The routes are up to 100 km long, on mountainous terrain, long uphills, and going over mountain passes. There can be more than 1000 m of vertical change, and spend 6 hours on the saddle. Mountain trails can include loose elements on dirt roads. You need to have advanced bicycle riding skills and technical skills. You are in a good physical condition and have endurance to ride long stretches of uphill. You are a regular bicycle rider that wants to have some sweat during the ride. |
Challenge The routes can be longer than 100 km, on mountainous terrain, with long uphills, steep inclinations, and even reaching mountain peaks. Long, steep, and technical are the words to describe, and it may include almost anything where a bicycle can pass. You need to have advanced bicycle riding skills and advanced technical skills.
